Mum and dad's little conversation

Chapter 10

I know I don't write any notes and stuff, but I really really wanted to thank my amazing cousin for helping me basically write the chapter, you know I love Ya even when I say I don't. ❤️

Diana POV:

As the week went on, I remember walking through the living room hearing mum and dad's hushed voices.

Mum: "so honey what do you think of Fares?"

Dad: "wallah he's a respectful boy, well raised and known, asking about him more I found out his prayers were persistent in the mosque too."

Mum: "mashallah God bless him, I asked about them and Fares, found the same things as you did a respectful, well known family."

Dad: "I think we should let them talk and get to know each other, if there was any good in it God will ease the way and from that we'll get to know the boy more."

Mum: "Ya his mum also suggested that they get to know each other before they got officially engaged, I think that would be for the best too." "What about Ma'an? Any news about him? Did you ask about him?"

Dad: "wallah Ma'an's a well raised, respectful boy, his family too." "His father's works with us in Aramco"

Mum: "Mmmm mmmm"

Dad: "But I've heard that Ma'an has had a bit of a background"

Mum: "mmmm"

Dad: "but I didn't come to say that, cause you know people change, everyone has had that period in life where they have done a couple of things, so don't we forget ourselves"

Mum: "of course we can't only look at him from that side, cause truth is we have no right to judge him the only one that can judge him or us is the one above"

After listening to that I walked to room, started thinking about there conversation, what they said about Ma'an and Fares.

It's like we look at some people and think of them as Angels but the truth is they're just Devils acting and dressing up like angels, I'm not saying that none of them are any good or that I'm judging them.

But that I accepted the idea of being with Ma'an and rejected the idea of being with Fares because of the things that have happened between us........
